Traditional Kushti wrestling unfolds in Kolkata’s akharas, Mallakhamb athletes in Mumbai balance with daring precision, and Moichara competitors in Bengal charge through flooded fields with raw intensity. Alongside these heritage practices, rugby scrums, horse riding, tennis, bodybuilding competitions and cycling races reveal the modern face of athletic ambition. Portraits of sports personalities add human identity to the narrative, showing resilience, discipline, and triumph.
